First Day and a half in Budapest

I arrived in Budapest yesterday afternoon while being deprived of sleep the night before. I had a great flight, it was especially exciting because I was upgraded to Business Class by a couple charming men from Wales. That's what I call a good start to a great trip.
My apartment is . . . cute. . . It's a bit retro. That's our courtyard and our front door. You can't flush toilet paper down the toilet and the sink water can either be hot or cold, but only one at a time. We were told that the apartment came with linens and towels, and what a pleasant surprise to find that this is one of our towels:
I don't know what this building is yet, but I'm sure it has some significant historical meaning.
Kozel: a delicious, wheaty, and very alcoholic Hungarian beer that cost about a dollar.
I met up with some American friends, we had some drinks and spicy food, and then I went to bed around 11 like a jet-lagged traveller would.
